Tipico Case Study: Increasing shop visits with display drive-to-store ads

Tipico, one of the leading sports betting brands in Europe, stands for excitement and the ultimate sports experience. Together with franchise partner Olympico GmbH, adlicious implemented a four-week campaign in Darmstadt to bring this experience to the target group and direct users specifically to the local Tipico shop.

The campaign was characterized by the intelligent combination of dynamic display drive-to-store banners and targeted brand messages. The content was updated daily to include top games such as Real Madrid versus Borussia Dortmund as well as generic news such as “Experience the world of sports in your Tipico shop! “to highlight. The target group, consisting of men aged 18 and over with an interest in sports and sports betting in Darmstadt, was targeted through advertising placements on relevant sports websites. Higher CPPs were deliberately accepted in order to place the messages in a native and thematically appropriate environment.

With a low cost-per-store visit of just 27.02€ and positive customer feedback, the target group was successfully directed to the shop.
