Challenge

Increase awareness among young people in Frankfurt am Main and the surrounding area regarding VGF apprenticeships and communicate the job profiles and employer benefits.

Solution

To increase awareness of VGF apprenticeships among the relevant target group, we focused on a clear social media strategy: transparent communication of benefits, playful ad design, and two targeted campaigns in the spring and winter of 2025/2026—timed perfectly ahead of the start of the training programs. Through Meta and Snapchat, we reached not only the students themselves but also their parents as key influencers. The result: a significant increase in both the quantity and quality of applications.

A laptop and smartphone displaying promotional materials for the VGF apprenticeship campaign: a display banner with the headline "Every loot?" and a story ad for the industrial mechanic apprenticeship.
Collage of various VGF apprentice campaign promotional materials in yellow and turquoise, featuring motifs of apprentices, text ads, and a treasure chest with a gaming aesthetic.
